You’re in the right place for thoughtful, full-body chiropractic care that puts your needs first. Dr. Peter Rehl continues the legacy of Drs. Ross and Frederick while serving the Oakland community with predominantly instrument-assisted techniques.
Your First Two Visits
Your first visit includes a conversation about your health and goals, along with a thorough exam (about 60 minutes). We assess motion, nerves, muscle function, and how your spine moves—or doesn’t move—well. If X-rays are needed, we’ll indicate this. You’ll receive a brief review of exam findings and how they relate to your health concerns, plus a recommendation for care. Fees are discussed before care begins, and your first adjustment may be provided the same day.
Your second visit follows up on your first adjustment to see how your body responded. Dr. Rehl makes fine changes as needed to help guide your healing journey. Your care plan may include findings from your X-ray report, with a personalized plan that evolves as your body adapts and heals through gentle, precise adjustments.
How to Prepare
Getting ready is simple—come dressed for easy movement so we can examine and adjust you comfortably. Please arrive 15-20 minutes early for the new patient intake process.
- Wear comfortable clothing.
- If you have long hair, bring a hair band.
- Expect to remove your shoes and jewelry for the exam.
Street parking is available on nearby residential streets. Same-day appointments may be available—call to confirm or to discuss urgent needs after hours.
Techniques, Add-On Therapies, and Payments
Adjustments may include Impulse IQ, Activator Methods, Drop Table, or Diversified—always gentle and tailored to you. Cold LASER therapy is often added when it can speed comfort and healing.
We accept Medicare; auto accident and workers’ comp cases are welcome. We’re also applying to join Sutter Health and UnitedHealthcare. HSA/FSA and all major credit cards are accepted. Fees and any care-plan savings are reviewed at your Report of Findings. Limited hours are available the first Saturday of each month.
